Beenie Man and Snoop Dogg join forces on new single
Beenie Man and Snoop Dogg have released a new collaborative single titled For You, pairing two of music’s most recognizable voices on a single track. Produced by Kemar McGregor, the song blends West Coast G funk with authentic Caribbean dancehall riddims, giving both artists room to work in their own lane while building toward a shared hook.
A packed guest list rounds out the track
Rather than keeping the spotlight on just its two headliners, For You brings in a wide roster of featured artists including Elephant Man, D’yani, Shaneil Muir, Tifa, Vanessa Bling, Stefflon Don, Kraff and Pamputtae. The rotating cast of verses moves between rapid fire patois, street leaning bars and smoother R&B inflected vocals, giving the track a shifting texture from one verse to the next. Built around a sub heavy, syncopated riddim with sleek synth work layered on top, the song carries the energy of a classic sound clash while still aiming for broad, radio friendly appeal. Its hook centers on loyalty and devotion, tying the various vocal styles back to a single theme.

Beenie Man rides a wave of recognition
The single arrives at a high point for Beenie Man, widely known as the King of Dancehall. The Jamaican government recently honored him with the Order of Distinction, recognizing more than three decades of work shaping the genre. That recognition lines up with a strong stretch of live shows in the United States, including a sold out headlining date at UBS Arena in New York, along with appearances at Reggae in the Park Delaware, his own Summa Sizzle Fest and the 64th Jamaican Independence Celebration in Florida.
Snoop Dogg’s influence keeps expanding
Snoop Dogg brings his own momentum to the project. He recently received the 2026 Citizen Artist Award for his community work and philanthropy, and was named Team USA’s first honorary coach and special correspondent for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. Snoop has also been building out his business interests, most recently becoming an investor in Welsh football club Swansea City.
