Oba Femi walked into the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California on Monday night and left no room for doubt. On the final episode of Raw before WrestleMania 42, the rising star signed his contract, stared down Paul Heyman, and delivered a message that shook the entire arena — he is coming to end Brock Lesnar.
Oba Femi Signs the Contract on His Own Terms
After a massive pull-apart brawl derailed last week’s contract signing, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce and Triple H made the call to have Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar sign their WrestleMania 42 contracts separately to ensure the match would actually make it to the show.
Lesnar went first, signing quickly and wasting no time making his intentions clear. He grabbed the microphone and told the crowd they would not even remember his name after the weekend — a bold declaration that landed to a thunderous crowd reaction.
Then it was Oba Femi’s turn. He walked to the ring with the Sacramento crowd firmly in his corner, chanting his name loud enough to rattle the rafters. He signed the contract without hesitation.
Paul Heyman Steps In and Gets a Brutal Response
The moment Femi put pen to paper, Paul Heyman appeared at the top of the entrance ramp. What followed was one of the sharpest verbal exchanges of WrestleMania season.
Heyman told Femi he had never seen anyone rise to the top as fast, calling him the most violent person to enter WWE since Brock Lesnar and the fastest-rising star since Lesnar as well. He then warned that everything Femi had built would come crashing down at WrestleMania — conquered by The Beast in Suplex City.
Femi did not flinch. He fired back with a response that stopped the arena cold, telling Heyman it was taking everything in him not to walk down that ramp and make things physical. But he held back — because this was bigger than Heyman. He told Heyman that his door would stay closed, because the only door he needed open was the one leading to WrestleMania — and he already had it.
Then came the line that brought the house down. Femi looked directly into the camera and declared himself the one who would put an end to The Beast.
A Rivalry Built Match by Match
The road to this moment has been building since the start of 2026:
- The rivalry began at the 2026 Royal Rumble, where Lesnar eliminated him after the latter had stamped his authority on the match
- Femi accepted Lesnar’s open challenge for WrestleMania and shocked the WWE Universe by hitting him with his devastating Fall from Grace powerbomb
- Last week’s contract signing exploded into an all-out brawl, forcing WWE officials to physically separate both men
- On the April 13 Raw, both men finally signed — separately — with the tension between them reaching a fever pitch
WrestleMania 42 Night Two Is Set
Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar are set to collide at WrestleMania 42 Night Two on April 19, with the entire WWE Universe split on who walks out on top. Lesnar brings 25 years of dominance and a resume that speaks for itself. He brings four weeks of proof that The Beast can be beaten.
The contract is signed. The stage is set. And if Monday night was any indication, Oba Femi is walking into WrestleMania with nothing to lose and everything to prove.
