Ye set an attendance record in Houston on Halloween night, but one face in the crowd took over a big part of the conversation.
Fan-shot video from Ye’s Saturday, Oct. 31, show at Reliant Stadium appears to show Drake watching the performance alongside Travis Scott, according to Complex. The pair wore the same outfits they had on at a Houston Rockets game earlier that night. Longtime Ye collaborator Mike Dean was also in the building, though separately.
Neither Drake nor Ye has commented on the sighting. Still, after years of bad blood, the Toronto star showing up to watch Ye perform had fans wondering whether the two have quietly moved on.
Ye addressed Drake at his concert.

Drake and Ye have a long, messy history
Their story started with mutual respect. The Canadian rapper has long named Ye as a major influence, and Ye directed the video for Best I Ever Had and co-wrote and co-produced Find Your Love early in Drake’s career.
Things soured after Pusha-T released The Story of Adidon in 2018 and revealed that Drake had a son. Drake came to believe Ye had shared that private information, a claim Ye and Pusha-T have denied.
The tension resurfaced in 2024 when Ye took shots at Drake on a remix of Like That. By 2025, his tone had shifted. Ye spoke warmly about Drake and floated the idea of working together. That April, he told DJ Akademiks during a livestream that he had sent Drake Preacher Man from Bully, but Drake did not seem interested in jumping on it.
Travis Scott has been back on good terms with Ye for a while after their own flare-ups in 2025. Where Drake stands is still anyone’s guess.
A record night in H-Town
The show itself was historic. About 80,210 fans packed Reliant Stadium, according to figures shared by the social media account Hip Hop All Day. HotNewHipHop reported that the crowd topped Ye’s own mark for the largest hip-hop concert in U.S. history, set in April when he drew more than 74,000 fans on each of two nights at SoFi Stadium.
Ye performed for close to three hours on his globe-shaped stage. He brought out Playboi Carti for a run of collaborations and solo cuts, along with guest André Troutman. His daughter North West also hit the stage in elaborate makeup, performing three songs before Ye hugged her on her way off. During Ghost Town, Ye thanked Houston for the record and for sticking with him over the years.
The controversy has not gone away
The turnout came despite heavy criticism of Ye over his antisemitic remarks in recent years, including social media posts praising Adolf Hitler, merchandise featuring swastikas and the 2025 song Heil Hitler. In January, he took out a full-page ad in The Wall Street Journal apologizing and attributing his behavior to bipolar disorder.
Ahead of the Houston show, Reliant Stadium banned hate symbols at the gates, and Holocaust Museum Houston offered free admission all weekend as part of an education effort.
Ye heads to Dallas on Nov. 7 and Phoenix on Nov. 21. Fans will be watching those crowds closely for any more famous faces.
