Firefox OS finally got shown on a couple of smartphones. It feels like they will have to start off on some less than great ones, The ZTE Open & the Alcatel One Touch Fire will release later this year in emerging markets such as Brazil & Serbia, but won’t come to the US anytime soon, if at all. Mozilla has gone on to say we’ll see update phones in America in 2014(after some sort of success). Check out more information.

Samsung is ready to launch its Galaxy SIV next month. They will be unveiling the smartphone at Radio Muic city Hall, but if your not apartof the press you can witness the unveiling at Time Square, as the company has invited everyone to witness their new device. Samsung has’nt revealed the specs for their device but the rumored specs are rumored to be “1.8GHz eight-core Exynos 5 Octa processor (or a Snapdragon chipset, according to recent rumors) along with a 4.99-inch 1080p full HD display, a 13-megapixel rear camera, 2GB of RAM, 4G LTE connectivity, a micro SD slot, wireless charging capabilities and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.” Peep the invite after the break.

Instagram finally did it but they finally surpassed the 100 million memember mark. Instagram announced the feat earlier today, after being accessible for the last 2 years. Not sure if thats a long time or short time for a social media network to amass that accounts. Even though the company had a rough time in December after it was announced they would be retooling their privacy policy. Since then the company has revised back to the old policy. “We had a sense that maybe through Instagram we could tune in to what was happening just a few steps away,” Systrom wrote. “With a few quick commands at his terminal, my co-founder Mike [Krieger's] screen filled with images of the game: the bullpen, dugout, concession stands, cheering fans and a panoramic view from somewhere up high.”

Google has just updated its Google+ with a some new features with a new application sign-in which should make life with Google+ much easier. The new features allow Google+ plus users to sign into non Google apps and web with their user acct , as Google says it to ”bring along their Google+ info for an upgraded experience. While there, it was confirmed to him that Glass will definitely come out at the end of this year & will be under the $1500 price tag that developers have to pay for now. According to sources to Google, the internet giant is looking to launch their own music subscription service by the end of the year. Both The Verge and The Financial times claim that Google is currently in talks with music labels to push the service. Google’s music stream service Play music has been around since 2011, not a long time but since it launched they changed the name originally naming the service Google Music. Unlike Apple and Amazon, Google is looking to start a subscription service  which would more than likely have unlimited downloads and streaming available. Which in the long run if done right could hurt Apple’s iTunes service. No other info is available at the moment but I’m sure when Google is ready to launch the service they will be ready to take on Apple , Amazon and Spotify.
